In the last few months my client's Viper S1700 stops at two different intervals. The first one it will stop at the end of it's program and coincides with the Controller throwing the S1 Firewire error. The error log also shows trouble connecting to the 1394 firewire cable when this event occurs. We have replacement cables on the way. The old ones seem frayed. I'll update if the firewire cables fix the S1 error.
The second error that occurs randomly is it will stop at the exact same place, mid loop just before it places objects on a laser engraver. This coincides with an error Initializing the C Sharp plugin in Event Viewer and the Adept log. I've updated C++ libraries but I think the error lies in Adept's own custom C# plugin. Event Viewer also shows some DirectX errors for Ace but they don't coincide with the robot stopping. DXDiag comes back clear. I was thinking of disabling hardware acceleration but wanted to check here before I make changes.
Any advice for issue #2? I can provide screenshots if requested.
