Hello vipinpunneri, you meant that after step selection the robot dont work in automatic mode? just in T1/T2. No alarm appears in the message area?
Please first of all post
Robot manufacturer
KSS version (KUKA robots)
Model of Robot (AGILUS KR10, KR210 for exemple)
Model of Controller (KUKA KRC4 , KRCC5, KRC2 ...)
Its Fanuc R2000iC/210F robot with R30iB controller
software version is 8.4

Fanuc system programmer realized it that way. Wouldn't be a good idea to do it different way, as the normal user shouldn't be able to change automatic program flow by just touching here and there on TP during automatic mode.
the program was paused in auto mode then i moved the cursor to different line and gave cycle start, usually a prompt message appears by saying that cursor is changed from the paused line, but this particular robot doesnt shows that
Go to MENU>SETUP>RESUME TOL and set "Enable Tolerance Checking" to "TRUE" then you can set up your distance and orientation tolerances ect. I believe this is what you're talking about.

This option is not what I'm looking for. This enables once you move the robot from a paused position. I'm looking for even a single non motion line moved alarm prompt message. This is basic function. But my particular robot doesn't shows the prompt

Yes, that is exactly the behavior I would expect.
Who knows which setting or sysvar this is?

Ok I misunderstood but I do know what you are talking about now. I don't know the answer to this unfortunately but i'm intrigued now. I've never had a robot NOT show that prompt because I typically use that to jump back to where I was in the program quickly by selecting no.
