    Hi,

Can someone help meon how the ports are distributed on CRMA15, CRMA16, CRMA52A & CRMA52B (pictures attached)

    Serial No. E22133833 (pictures attached)

    TYPE: AO5B-2651-BO12

I dont have much idea about Fanuc robots, but have worked with cobots, the robot model is R30ib and the controller says LRMate 200iD. I believe the CRMA are the io ports but not sure how they are layed out.

The requirement is to find free digital output port for an auxiliary device

.. robot model is R30ib and the controller says LRMate 200iD..

    It's the other way round.

Do you have access to fanuc CRC (customers resource center) ? You have to register, then you have access to all documents, there you will find maintenance manual for your controller R30iB, where the connectors are described.

Judging from the manufacturing date, I would assume it's an R-30iB Mate PLUS controller.
As hermann mentioned, get in touch with your local FANUC representative and ask them for the correct manual (Maintenance Manual for the robot controller will include the wiring diagram as well as pinout for CRMA15/16 and CRMA 58/59).

OP might not belong to FANUC America, and thus the CRC might not apply to him (In Europe, they use a different support portal).

Got in touch with Fanuc, they send me the "R-30iBMate_controller_maintenance_manual_[B-83525EN_06] (1)" manual, which doesn't say R-30iB Mate 'PLUS', went through the manual and found the attached pages, not sure if thats the right one but will check it out today. Hope it works.

    Thanks guys.

Not sure, but I don't think that the pinout for these connector has changed from R-30iB to R-30iB Plus.

The maintenance manual B-83525 is valid for Mate and Mate Plus controllers.

The pictures from the manual I posted yesterday didn't work out, tried turning on corresponding DO on pendant and never gave a 24V signal on corresponding terminal.

Eg: DO116 which corresponds to 48 on CRMA16

Checked the manual for R30iB Mate plus controller, its the same.

The robot is a loader for an ANCA machine, would they somehow lock the unused io ports?

Did you supply 24V for the output (DOSRC2)?
