    Hi guys,

Robot S430-i has a fault, SRVO 105 door open or e-stop. Tried changing e-stop board, e-stop unit, servo amp, tp cable, teach pendant. Checked every terminals of operator panel. All safeties in robot and both PLC are ok. Any help is appreciated,

    Thanks

Have you looked at the door-switch?

Unfortunately, this rather vague fault title doesn't scream at you that it is referring to the door switch of the robot control cabinet :face_with_tongue:

90% chance is that switch, I remember that particular message very well as It has also given me problem as it's vague... at least fanuc could have specified "SRVO 105 CABINET Door open or e-stop" as with the current message you would think you have a problem on the FENCE or the EMGSTOP safety channels...

Press then release the estop on both controller and pendant. Open and shut the controller door. Press and release each dead man switch. Then walk out of the room and back in.

Finally, press reset and see if it works.

Which controller type do you have? Also check this thread.

SRVO-105 Door open or E. Stop error R30IA controller

    Hello,

I am facing with the problem of SRVO-105 . The controller is R30IA with M710IC robot . The controller doesn't have door switch.

No PLC and no external TBOP connections to panel board or e-stop board (all necessary jumpers are present). The robot was working till esterday.

When system powered on in auto mode everything seems to be normal, amplifier enabled and robot is ready to work, but after 2-3 minutes (it is random) the srvo-105 error showing up. With reset it is possible to eliminate it…

    Evinwilson,

Yes, there is no door switch, but there is a door switch connection place in the cabin. The necessary wiring location for this switch is not only on the "EM-Stop Card" on the back of the cover when you open the cover. In the same way, when you open the cabinet for the door switch connection wiring, you will see 1 or 2 small green electronic independently mounted cards that appear on the underside at the back of the switch. A lot of my friends who do robot work, including me, actually don't know that these cards work like a door switch or an external stop, because most of the time they are either not connected or not needed. In my opinion, there is a problem with the jump cords on those cards. The door switch error made me struggle for 2 days, and then I found those cards difficult by tracking the circuit from the diagram.

In other words, when you press the button on the controller, you need to look at the side of the small electronic card connected to the large relays that you hear in the cabin.
