Hi all, just wondering how the joints on Universal Robots actually go bad. It seems to be out of the blue almost as they run consistently and well. I understand after research that it could be do to debris, humidity, or even PCB coating. Has anyone else had a C26XXXX error? If so what actually happened to cause it? Just looking at possible causes before taking the joint apart and dissecting.
Ironically we had two robots go down the same day, one for a Wrist 1 error that couldn't be resolved. The other being an Elbow error.
I also know that the only solution is typically to repair or replace, unless a cold reset works.
