    Hello.

We have a problem with the robot (EPX2900), namely the error alarm 4314 - serial encoder battery error, axis R/B/T (pictures in the attachment). After the reset, the robot continues painting.

We replaced all the batteries (in the control cabinet and two pairs of batteries for axis 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) but the error keeps repeating.

Any idea what it could be (wiring / R/B/T axis motor)?

Thanks in advance and best regards!

Can be the harness in the arm. When was the last time the harness was changed?

I don't know, probably a long time ago. Where is the harness location?

Wire harness goes through the base of the robot arm all up through the lower and upper arm. It connects the base cables of the robot to all the motor and encoder connections of the 6 axes.

    Hi.

We still haven't figured out what the problem is.

We found that at different robot locations, it sometimes displays an error on the joystick, and sometimes nothing. In both cases, it displays an error on the MOP, namely a robot cabinet error. After resetting, the error disappears and the robot continues to operate. The error occurs 1 - 2 times a day (8 working hours).

Does anyone have an idea / solution?

    Thanks.

Have you changed the harness in the arm yet?

I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.

Not yet. I have two in stock, I don't know which is the right harness axis L (HW0173560-A) or harness axis S (HW0173559-A).
