I am trying to figure out if there are solid, off-the-shelf solutions for hand-guiding industrial robots (not cobots).
Other forms of hand teaching, not involving the robot, but creating a trajectory by recording hand motion, using a wired or wireless device - would be just as good, maybe even better.
My specific use case is for spraying application.
I found that RoboDK have a device called TwinTrack, which did not seem to gain traction...
I spotted a Fanuc video from a few years ago showing a dedicated setup of one of their spray robots (using a "joystick" gizmo mounted on their force sensor), but I couldn't find this usage mentioned in their brochures.
I saw something similar, for welding, using an ABB robot; but this video was by a third-party.
Would appreciate any comments and pointers!
