Denso RC7M Error 27BD on Start Up

    I purchased a V6577 with a RC7M controller on Ebay. From quick searches online I've found some valuable documentation. However I am consistently having issues on start up with an error that reads as follows on the teach pendant:

    "lv_load_RegisterDisp Error

    ERROR MESSAGE: 27BD"

    Behind the error overlay is the language select window. Maybe the second time I started the controller I got through the error and into the language select. Since then I consistently get the error and can not proceed.

    Error code table simply states initialization is unusual, restart controller. Any help would be appreciated.

    Based off of your description that gave it sounds like the battery has died and the controller is empty. You will need WinCaps III and either a backup for the controller or the core software to restore it to a useable state.
