    Hi all,

I hope all are doing well, I am intrested to see if we are able to change the arc welding parameters such as WFS , travel speed , trim , remotely while the robot is working in the AUTO mode , from this forum I understood that fanuc has a OTF button in the pendant that lets you do that , but that happens only in manual mode (T1). I came across these variables in fanuc which I guess has something to do with OTF but couldnt find what exactly they do , If anyone has any Ideas on it or probably a refrence documt , It would help me for sure. Below is the details of equipmet we are using.

    *************Equipment details*********
    Make: Fanuc
    Manipulator: Arcmate 100iC/8L
    Robot controller : R30iB Plus
Weld Power Source Make : Lincoln
Weld Power Source : Power Wave® R450 Robotic Power Source.
PLC - Allen Bradley - Compact Logix 5380
Communication protocol - Ethernet (PLC -> Fanuc robot controller -> Lincoln Weld Powersource)
    *****************END*********************

    TIA  !

You could change your weld schedule to be registers. Then before all weld operation you could send a updated Karel file that sets those register to what you want. you can send the Karel file through roboguild with FTP. I would make a Karel program for every part you run then send that specific Karel file to update the registers.

Fanuc allows you to look at the teach pendant through the web. I know you can alter register with that option.
