Hi, I'm trying to create a system from backup for an ABB 6700 series robot. I'm using RS system builder for that. When I selected the backup folder and media pool folder link, "next" did not show up. I zipped the folders but only folders can be selected. I would be glad if anyone please share steps on how to create a system from backup in RS.

What version of robotware does the robot have? System builder is for pre RW6, installation manager is for version 6 and up. If you don't have the version in your mediapool as the robot, it might prompt you or might be stalling because of that. I am confused why you zipped the backup folder, a complete backup is in its own folder, if you select it, it should be fine. Notice I said select, not double click to enter the backup folder directory.

copy from the network to your local computer first. You should also be able to create the system onto a usb from which you can install the system.
