FANUC R-30iB Mini Plus controller IO terminal

    I am trying to connect a 5/2 pneumatic valve to the FANUC R-30iB Mini Plus controller. This is how it is IO terminal card looks. When I connect the wires, it does not work. But it worked previously. What could be the possible causes to this?

    I was trying to control 2 pneumatic valves from the controller. After I physically connected the wires, I switched on the digital IO ports (DO101 and DO102) from the TP. But nothing happens. Can someone help me? Can someone explain how to connect valves to this PCB and do i need to use jumper wires if so where? Kind of basics. Thank you.

    Have a look in the Maintenance Manual for the controller. I think that all the 0V-terminals need to be jumpered together, and also you need to supply the outputs with 24V (DOSRC).

    For solenoids, I would suggest using an external power supply, or to add relays in between. The Outputs from FANUC controllers can't handle big loads.
