Its been a couple years since I took the Roboguide course but is there a way for me to have Roboguide look at a created program (.tp) through the load option then have it perfect it? I remember us doing something similar in class to were we put a nut on a fake table then had the robot program a path based on the nut threads? Just curious if there is such a feature, preferably with something not requiring CAD but a .tp already put together.

There is a path optimization function in RoboGuide. It's been awhile so I don't remember the exact menu, but the results it produces are fairly common sense. Use 100% speeds and CNT100 where possible.

Depend on your roboguide soft version , old one has this function in 'TOOL' . i used this tool , it looks like not smart . ....
