Failed to login on controller

    I'm getting an error message

    "Failed to login on controller. Verify credentials provided in preferences: ABB.Robotics.RIM.InternalSystemException"

    Everything was fine last week, we tried to reinstall the system but since then i can't login bac

    I changed the computer..reinstall robotstudio...manually configure IP...nothing works

    Approved the thread.

    This might be a band-aid workaround, but I have the same issue and I found that opening up Installation Manager before connecting my ethernet cable, then refreshing the list of available controllers allowed Installation Manager to finally connect as normal.

    Are you just trying to login using the default settings? or are you trying to log in under a specific account?


    I believe if you connect directly to the teach pendant port you can get past this. (X3)
