FTP Setup

You're mixing up several things:
If you use FTP, there is no "network folder"

Use an FTP client like totalcommander or other FTP tools.
By default the robot has no FTP password.

It could also be important that you have the Ascii upload option, otherwise you cannot upload the Ascii programmes (LS) directly.

Different protocols...

FTP is not SMB...

To setup network share on robot see attached gif..

and check manual..

And ask your admin for SMB on windows..

I would use a memory card( CF card for the PCMCIA connection (MC:)) USB flash drive is usually cheap flash, and depending on the controller version, the slot is inside controller

Why not using ftp? Just because of missing a specific folder name? Can't follow that.

You have too many TP programs and not enough storage space in robot MD: , is that the key problem?

u want the robot get the TP program from external storage unit (or network), automatic or manually ?

If manually get TP program, there will be several method...
