I'm searching for a way to predict forces between a robot base and what the robot is mounted to, with the ability to try multiple robot payload and poses without spending hours re-CADding everything.
The full story is that I'm looking at a Cobot mounted on a riser on top of an AMR. One of the things I need to do is check several different combinations of Cobot, AMR, payload, and (possibly) adding counterweights, and determine if the combination presents a tipping risk.
(the obvious answer would be "use a bigger AMR", but space constraints don't allow for that)
It would be really nice if the software could also do a dynamic/inertia analysis, but at least for a first downselect, I need a decent way to do a static analysis (robot at worst case pose with worst-case payload) without spending weeks doing it.
Anyone know of a tool that fills this bill?
