move R to PR, decimal issue

    Hi Guys,

    I have an issue when moving Register value to Position Register.

    I have calculated a value of 754.999 to a register and when I move the value to a position register, the controller only moves 754.

    is there a way to round up/down based on the register value?

    i.e. if it's 754.459, round down to 754, OR if it's 754.599 round up to 755?

    It's possible to round (up/down/nearest) a register value; but it sounds like something else is going wrong, and it would be a waste to try and solve it by throwing away sub-millimeter precision with rounding the values.

    If I put a value of 754.999 in a register, and throw that register into a PR's axis, the value is correctly copied (and not rounded). Can you describe what you are doing exactly, and at what step the rounding of the value is introduced?

    Hello, writing to PR works normally for me even with a decimal number.

    But you can do rounding like this:
