    Hello,

I have CRX-25i with R-30, trying to triger Hardware digital output of the robot directly (Without PLC) . I configuered rack ,slot, and Start point according to 48 1 1, and mapped that to DO[81]. The wiring is also 24v and 0 v from card to sensor and getting the signal of DO[1] , but still no output signal.

Is there any pre-wiring over the card ?

Is there any pre configuration over the variables?

I am newly experincing Fanuc, that would be perfect to have a general instruction about the first configuration of I/Os.

    Grazie

You have probably made a mistake when wiring the supply +24VDC and/or the 0V.

There are a few pins that needs to be connected. It's somewhat cryptic in the manual, but something like this:

*24VDC must be supplied to DOSRC1 (pin 26)
*0V-chain must not be broken, so daisy-chain all 0V (36-37-38-60-61-62-63)
*If you want to use internal 24VDC, then jumper one of the 24V-2 (2, 3 or 4) to 24VEXT_IN (1), and also jumper from your 0V-chain to 0VEXT (35)

That seems to be just the jumpers for the FENCE and EXT E-Stop circuits...
You need to add also a chain for the 0V.

Ask your local rep for the maintenance manual for the controller (R-30iB Mini Plus), there you will find which pin on JRM18 connector corresponds to which terminal on your break out board.

Connect DOSRC 1 and DOSRC 2 to 24v

Connect SDICOM 1 and SDICOM 2 to 0v

After the connection your board will be powered up.
