KAWASAKI FS060L SERVO DRIVE

    I'm going to buy a used FS060L (control D) and I would need to know if the servo board in D controller has the software charged by diskette, (like the AD-HQ controller in 1GE53). Or, in other case, if the software is in ePROM chip (like 1AE).

    D controller firmware is stored in flash memory on 1KJ or 1QJ board.

    This board is mounted on CPU 1KA/1RA board.

    The firmware for D controller is not the same as AD controller and therefore correct D controller firmware files are required for version of D controller and application. As this controller is no longer supported, you may find difficult to locate correct AS and SV firmware.


    AS firmware (system) or SV firmware (servo) can be uploaded to the controller via:

    - PCMCIA card (if option and hardware is provided).

    - Via Ethernet (if option and hardware is provided).

    This requires specific dipswitch settings for uploading to be set on 1KA/1RA board prior to upload.
