D controller firmware is stored in flash memory on 1KJ or 1QJ board.
This board is mounted on CPU 1KA/1RA board.
The firmware for D controller is not the same as AD controller and therefore correct D controller firmware files are required for version of D controller and application. As this controller is no longer supported, you may find difficult to locate correct AS and SV firmware.
AS firmware (system) or SV firmware (servo) can be uploaded to the controller via:
- PCMCIA card (if option and hardware is provided).
- Via Ethernet (if option and hardware is provided).
This requires specific dipswitch settings for uploading to be set on 1KA/1RA board prior to upload.
