    Dear experts,

Please help me regarding these grease injection nozzles.

Should grease be charged inside these parts every time?

The proper information is in the manual. Instead of giving you the fish, I'll show you how to fish.

Go to Yaskawa/Motoman documentation site at:

    Motoman Robot & Controller Manuals

    Press CTRL F to search

Search for and download these MPX3500 Maintenance Manuals & supplements:

    174889-1

    4194021-1

    191752-1

When you try to download, it will ask for a limited amount of your information before letting you proceed.

Let us know how it worked out.

Hello, thank you my dear friend Skooter for your reply

The issue is that there is no explanation given about these two grease injection nozzles in any instructions. By the way, I did not find the number 4194021-1. Is the number correct?

Sorry about that - should be 194021-1.

Item 4148 mentioned by TSGIR is a grease fitting listed at the end of the parts list in the Maintenance manual.

Read through the manual and now understand your question. I've had other Motoman robots that did not mention a grease port in the manual or addendum. I don't see an answer to what grease these 2 grease fitting calls for. I would remove the fitting and sample the grease inside the holder to see if was EP2 like the gears or something else.
