Running IRB1200 robot with IRC5 compact controller.

At the moment I am trying to connect RS and PC, RS does not find the controller in the network. I connected through all ports: service, WAN, LAN2-3 without success. I attach the following material, it may be useful:

Make sure your ethernet interface has DHCP enabled and connect to service port.

Do you have the PC Interface option on the robot? This is needed to connect via robotstudio. If you are trying to put the robot on a network, the WAN port is the best option. Do you have the port configured?

If you want to test if you can connect locally, use the service port and make sure your PC's ethernet adapter for the port you are using is on the 192.168.125.XXX subnet on something besides .001 then click one click connect for an easy connection

No, it's not needed if you connect via service port, only for Wan.

No, just use DHCP, much easier.

Two post above everything is already told.

    1. Identify Controller "Service Port (RJ45)" network information.
TP - ABB - System Info - Controller properties - Network connections - Service port
    Default IP : 192.168.125.1
    Subnet : 255.255.255.0
    Gateway : None
    005

    2. Laptop IP Setup
    Start - Run or WinKey + R
    ncpa.cpl
Network adaptor "Properties" (Mouse Right click)
    Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP v4)
General - Use the following IP Address
IP : 192.168.125.*** (without duplicate last number)
Subnet : 255.255.255.0 (as same robot controller)
    Gateway : blank
    006

    3-1. Cable Connection

    When, front panel's port "broken"...

    Direct connect that RJ45 port.

    001

    002

    003

    004

    Return;

Thanks for the reply, I did as you pointed out, but the following RS error occurred: "No controller found on management port".

If this error does not occur, the connection process starts and the following error occurs: "RobotStudio .NET exception: C0040403 No response from controller. Timeout. Base exception: RobApiException".

    On the controller installed:

    RobotWare: 6.10

    841-1 Ethernet/IP scanner/Adapter

    608-1 World Zones

    611-1 Path Recovery

    616-1 PC interface

    617-1 FlexPendant interface

    623-1 multitasking

Most of the time there is an error: "No controller found on management port", is it related with OS problem?

Are you try "ping test" in command prompt?
Robotstudio still "No controller" message, You have to check network status.

    Ping test with no problem

Which IP address did you use for the ping test? If you have multiple network adapters, try disabling all except the one you want to use for communication.
