How to rename(recomment) a lot of digital IO's fast?

I have tried 2048 DIs and DOs in roboguide. It works for me.

Do you have more than 1704 IO points? Is your IP address correct?

If you send me your WorkCell, I can test it when I get the chance and see if I can figure out why it's not working on your cell.

WOW, thanks for a fun little puzzle. You are correct, it had to do with Version 8. This sheet calls different data from the Comment Tool on the Fanuc Webpage, which has changed with different Software Versions. I'm no Expert but I can usually figure out the changes I need for this sheet specifically.

This new Sheet covers a few changes, if you make your selections and then Change the Run Version until it works for you it should help (in your case you want DI Comments, or DO Comments, with a run version of 82).

Currently the only things that I know that run differently on older robots are the DIOs and sometimes flags.

This sheet has not been thoroughly tested, use at your own risk.

With the last file that you post I can not see any comments or values for the complete list for V8.

V9 is Ok.
