Help with connecting a KR5 ARC to a S7-1200

    Hi, I am new to this forum, and I would like to ask for help/guidance

    I am currently starting my Internship, and my task is to connect a a KUKA KR5 ARC to a PLC S7-1200, CPU 1212C DC/DC/DC, 6ES7 212-1AE40-0XB0, I would appreciate any help I could get in general.

    Right now I'm stuck in assigning the IOs of the robot, I want to assign and configure the IOs of the robot (using ethercad module) , and will it be compatible to the TIA Portal and the PLC?

    Hello,

    I'm a robotics student currently participating in a project as part of my internship. I'm looking for advice on how to integrate a KUKA robot system with a Siemens S7 1200 1212C PLC to control a KR5 Arc robot. My current challenge is to connect TIA Portal v17 with WorkVisual 6.0. The robot's I/O module is EtherCAT-based, and I'm struggling to configure the device without a GSD file.
