I have a RJ3iB and when I switch it to T1, it aborts the program that was running. Is there a way to disable that from happening so I dont have to go through and find where it was before going to T1 every time?

That is pretty odd behavior. Is the robot hooked up to a PLC? I've seen some programs that send the CSTOPI UOP input on any fault.

I would also check to see if any BG Logic is running.

Thank you for the replies
Just checked, no BG Logic running.
It is hooked up to a PLC, started to look around in logix and the "abort program signal to RB" goes through a robot interface word. Do not know how to trace it back any more then that.

As a quick kludge for troubleshooting, you could just simulate the abort signal on the robot side. Assuming they're using the CStop input, it should be easier than completely disabling the UOP's.
