    Hello everybody.

    I have a Fanuc robot

    Model: P-250iB

    Controller: System R-30iB

I had a lot of programs in my robot and I needed to load more. My robot was giving me a "MEMO-126 WARN No more available memory" alarm.

I deleted a large number of unused programs and tried again, but I still get the same alarm.

In the status/memory menu the tpp memory appears as follows:

    memory: 100kb

    Available: 10kb

I don't know how to empty the memory to load more programs.

    Could you help me?

The program you're trying to load likely exceeds the 10kb remaining

No, even when I want to generate a new program from the teach pendant I get the same "MEMO-126 WARN No more available memory" alarm.

I have already deleted most of my programs

Well, it depends how big the unused programs that you deleted were.

If I have a flash drive full of pictures and videos, and I delete all my pictures, is my flash drive empty? No, because videos take up a lot of space. Same with programs with hundreds of positions in them.

Memory should free up as you delete programs, so I am assuming your programs are quite large. Unless there is another issue, I've never seen this before.

I would take a backup, then try and delete more programs. On the select screen, I believe F3 and option 'size' will tell you how big each program is.

Before deleting the programs I performed an "all of above" backup and had 647 items (15.5MB) and now I have only 232 items (2.51 MB) in the "all of above" backup.

I deleted programs of 4.5 KB or more and still did not increase my TPP memory.

    I really don't know why

And I need to load these new programs, which weigh very similar to the deleted ones and are much less.

Try a controlled start and then try to load again after a cold start.

Post a screen shot of the actual memory values on the TP.

Any chance you're logging vision on the controller?

Im trying all your options and i dont have any good result, I don't know why

I don't know how attach an image here to share with you the memory status

in addition, some days I have 10,035 kb available space, some days i have 8,300 kb, and another days i have 1,050 kb, but i don't delete or load anything

Some years ago we had a problems with FANUC memory.

In our specific scenario, we really have more (huge) programs than robot memory could carry, so in our case, the solution was order an option from FANUC called DRAM File Storage (R798), that enabled an additional memory section called Shadow Memory.

the r30ib controllers should already have shadow memory, i would try cycling power after deleting the programs.

yes it's a R-30ib, but the problem persist.

I'm checking the programs files and I don't see any strange.

    I don't know what happen
