    Hello to everyone.

A few days ago i turned on my robotic setup after almost a year. I remember that the last time everything working correctly. But now, relay connected on CN309 terminal cant switched on. I already tested another outputs and also another terminals (CN306) but nothing work. I can exclude wrong transistor on output because also outputs which is never used is also death. Voltage on terminal 24V is OK and two fuses in plastic case is also OK. No alarm on pendant. Everything working correctly in software level.

Then i foud in documentation CUT FUSE LED (D2 FUSE) and is not lighting. I dont remember if during normal operation this LED diode was lighting or not. I'm not sure, if is any other fuse on DPS. What is mean not lighting LED - fuses are OK or blowed fuse?

Anybody any advice or hints how to solve this hellish problem? Probably its gonna be some stupid thing.

I remember, that the last time I try some new features and i working with parameters. Somebody know about a parameter which is possible to deactivate IO ports?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

We are having a simular issue for CN307.

We also tested everything we could without any result.

On thursday there will be a technician here from YASKAWA.

If we can find a fix i will let you know.

(please remind me in case I would forget).

    With kind regards

This is what i do, that doesn't mean it's the right way to do it.

I already had a communication with yaskawa guy. I mean just phone call where guy verify things on software level (universal outpus makes binary changes in external outputs). ...And card behavior is unnormal so probably broken card. But result without solution.

    Thank you so much.

    Mr.Czarli

    Hello Mr. Czarli,

    My appologies for the delay.

In our case the module apperently was not activated.

We did the following to make it work:

startup the dx100 in maintenance mode (press main menu while turning the main switch until you

    here a small beep)

    - go to system - security - management mode

    - go to system - setup - I/O module (select)

    - press enter x2 until it jumps to #st 19 and press enter again

    - a popup wil appear asking "modify?" --> select yes

    - a new screen appears (allocation mode) should be "auto"

    - press enter new screen #20010: 14 0 0 0 5 YIU02

    - press enter new screen #30010: 14 0 0 0 5 YIU02

    - keep pressing enter until the popup "modify?" appears again.

    - select yes: you will hear a small beep

    - the I/O module is now ready to use.

    Hope this helps...

    Mr.Czarli

I'm glad to see it work

If the 2 fuses in front are ok (by mesurement) then it should work.

There is a third internal fuse but I wouldn't worry about that.
