    Hello,

    Is it possible in Yaskawa DX200 to assign tools values and UF values through parameters put in IFP ?

    Exaple from ABB:

    TOOL1.tframe.trans:=[R001,R002,R003];

    TOOL1.tframe.rot:=OrientZYX(R004,R005,R006);

    Thanks in advance,
    Dawid Firlej

    I don’t know ABB or what a IFP is. What I think the equivalent is in Yaskawa is the SETTOOL instruction. This is part of the PMT software option and allows a robot job to write the tool data from a Position Variable.

    I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.

    I'd like to change the displacement and rotation of tool without entering MainMenu->Robot->Tool.... Like belowe.

    All i want is to put some Variables in I/F Panel, and after calculations assign values to this Tool or UF.

    Really additional software option is only possible way to do it ? How creepy....

    You can use SETTOOL and GETTOOL instruction.

    Give the tool data with GETTOOL and add/sub your values and write it to the tool with SETTOOL.

    That is a option function and you need to have on the controller.
