    Hi all,

I am using Workvisual 6.0 and i would like to add the file .xml or .dtm (or whatevere) to the program of the robot but i cant' dowlnload them, can you help me please?

i have downloaded a lot of files but workvisual doesn't recognize them...how can I do?

    ?thumbnail=1

"import device description file". Can you dive me the file of the library of the wago file or tell me where can i download it?

I know how to import the files, but i need the files because i can't download them from Wago site. In particular I need description files of

    750-430

    750-530

    750-600

    Thank you so much!

those are not bus couplers which is why there are no device descriptions files for them.

Wago bus couplers scan own backplane for connected IO modules so you just need to communicate with the bus coupler. check DeviceNet discussions and you will find 750-306 etc. you can keep all IO and just replace 750-306 with some different bus coupler and the same IO will be usable on a different fieldbus (ProfiNet or whatever).

i have downloaded it (750-306) but WorkVisual still doesn't recognize as description files. Do you have any other suggest?

Another question: do you know if Wago e Beckhoff can match together? Our idea of Robot PLC is :

    EK1100 Beckhoff

    EL6752 Beckhoff

    EL6752-0010 Beckhoff

    750-430 (input Wago)

    750-430 (input Wago)

    750-430 (input Wago)

    750-530 (output Wago)

    750-530 (output Wago)

    750-530 (output Wago)

    750-600 (terminal case Wago)

i don't think you can do that ...

while those may mechanically fit together, all products inside one "PLC" need to be compatible... mechanically and electrically. so stick with products from the same company and the same product family.

    Those products are different generations:

Beckhoff devices use e-Bus (newer + faster), while listed Wago products still use old K-bus. even the bus end module is different, on eBus it is just piece of plastic and you can run without it. but on kBus it has jumpers that terminate bus. without those jumpers kBus is dead.

chances are you already have Beckhoff products and want to add some discrete IOs to same bus coupler (EK1100). that is fine, but use Beckhoff IOs like EL1809 and EL2809.

i am trying to install on WorkVisual 6.0 the Wago file 750-306 as you suggested, but the program can't recognize it. i changed all the searching extensions trying to find it. Do you know why? Can you tell me how can i add this file in WV configuration?

    Thank you!

    Go back over READ FIRST...

Problem is your lack of communication skills. To get help from others, they need to understand you, so try describing the issue in necessary detail. Not just what you expect but also how to replicate the issue.

So far you told us nothing...

What file you are talking about? Did you look inside it? Can we see it too? What exact steps you use?

Link or URL is a string. Why paste it as an image? Is it in a QR code form?
