    Hello,

Is there a way I can record IO values on fanuc robots? I would like to record the value of a specific digital input for a given amount of time.... I suspect I have an issue with a switch button bouncing but would like to confirm. If I just look at the IO screen I won't be able to see it....

SO is there a way I can capture that info in very short intervals? Even better... is there a way to plot the signal from the pendant?

You can create a background that counts every time the signal goes OFF

    Hello,

With a BG Logic you can create a counter to find out how many times it has been activated.

Fanuc has an IO strip chart option you can buy (Option R559).

I also believe MotionPro can log IO status of a system it is connected to, but I am not 100% on that one.

But the free options mentioned here in thread should work.

Check out the Fanuc position converter I wrote here! Now open source!

Check out my example Fanuc Ethernet/IP Explicit Messaging program here!
