    Hello,

Did you configure anything in MENU -> SETUP -> PROFINET?

Seems that the EtherNet/IP option is not installed on your controller. Check this first and if you don't have it, you can buy it from FANUC.

I don't know your requirements, but connecting to a Siemens PLC is much easier with using PROFINET.

He is not talking about PROFINET.

If you don't have access to the Ethernet/IP menu under I/O it means that the option isn't installed in the robot

    Hello,

I know, but to be able to communicate with a Siemens plc you need to be on Profinet, which is the easiest way.

That is correct, PROFINET would be the easiest way. However, communicating to a Siemens PLC via EtherNet/IP is also possible.

    Hi,

No, you don't need to be on Profinet. Siemens PLCs can communicate through a variety of different interfaces, although Profinet is preferable since it is native in their PLCs.

However, Siemens have their own FCs for performing Ethernet I/P communication "through" their Profinet interface.

Try searching for "LCCF_EnetScanner" and/or "LCCF_EnetAdapter" on Siemens support site.
