Hello, can anyone point me in the steps to use a system variables in my tp code? Do I need to add it to a list then select it from that list to move it to a register? CRX-10iA/L with mini controller V42.

I want to monitor the amount of applied force on a single joint or joints for a skip condition.

Thanks for any help on this.

You don't need to add it to a list. Just set a register equal to the desired variable. You have to type in the variable name.

Hi HawkME, I'm trying to set $RMT_MASTER=0 by writing background logic. Is it possible to modify system variables like this in TP programming? If so, could you please explain how to do it? I haven't been able to find any proper resources on this topic.

Yes. In your program insert a new instruction.

    INST>Miscellaneous>Parameter name>$......

Highlight the "$..." Then press enter>options>keyboard, then type in the variable name. Then you can highlight the last part and enter 0.

Thank you, HawkME! It worked perfectly.
