Conveyor light curtain

    Hello,


    I am working in a Box labeling application using faunc rcx10iA/L robot. In that boxes are coming in a conveyor. In that conveyor is covered with the light curtains. So my query is the light curtain should reset it automatically after the box moves and robot should start. how to do that? Is there any setting need to be done from robot side or PLC side. Kindly give your comments.

    Is the box breaking the light curtain?

    Is the light curtain stopping the robot?


    If so I would suggest adding another sensor to detect the box and mute the light curtain. Then the robot would not be faulted and you could also use that sensor to trigger your robot to start.

    I think this will work because, I was thinking that after the box cuts the light curtain the robot will get safety stop and it will not get automatic start. However After the reset only Robot start will happen. That was my concern. Now I found a solution.
