Kuka LBR IIWA project idea

  • Hello everyone, due to lacking experience with the KUKA LBR IIWA, i need some guidance on how to develop a project. The idea is to make the robot pick up and drop tools at desired place and follow commands. The equipment for disposition is: KUKA LBR IIWA, Beckhoff CX PLC, WAGO PLC, things like raspberry pi. The questions are: What kind of setup would make sense? Does it make sense to integrate these things together? I would appreciate some help, so i don't waste incredible ammount of time. Thanks

  • All of the options are available for you with Sunrise OS. If you don't want to waste a lot of time, start with what you are familiar with and suitable for your project. You can do a lot with just the IIWA unless you need something more graphical.
