Changing Roboguide default IP adress

    Hi,


    I want to be able to connect to Roboguide on a second device, whilst using Visual Components (3D simulation software) on my main device. However, to achieve this, I'd have to change the default IP adress.


    Is there a way to change the default IP address in Roboguide from 127.0.0.1 to anything else?


    Alternatively, has anyone ever connected Roboguide to Visual Components on different devices?

    You do not have to change the ip address.


    All roboguide robots can be reached on the ip address of the computer running roboguide. 127.0.0.1 is used internally only by roboguide.


    Just make sure your firewall allows access to roboguide ports.
