Delete UOP I/O?

Hello,

I'm brand new to Fanuc robots. I have a customer that purchased a used M900iA with R-30iA controller from an auction, we're trying to get it tested for them. This robot was connected to a PLC via Ethernet/IP in its previous life, but it will not be needed now. I'm trying to remove the UOP config that is holding it out, mainly the IMSTP Input. I'm wondering if this is also where the DCS SSO fence Open alarm is coming from? I can go into the Ethernet/IP settings to disable to PLC, but that does not seem to be enough. I went to System/Config and tried to change Enable UI signals from True to False, but it changes right back to True.

Is there an easy step to remove the PLC connection and I/O from this controller? Can I delete the UOP Inputs and Outputs, or will that cause other issues?

I went in and cleared everything in the MENU/SYSTEM/DCS/Safe I/O connect.

In System/Config I can change Remote/Local to Local, and then that allows me to set Enable UI signals to false. If I cycle power on the controller, it defaults back to Remote and UI Signals enabled, is there any way to change that?
