    Hello.

    Could you help me with parameter for automaticly set security mode: OPERATION MODE while robot is running after lack of power?

    NX100/DX100/YRC1000

    It is possible to set also security mode from management or editing to operation mode when I switch on pendant from teach to remote/Play?

    Edit: Security mode change when switching operation mode

    I want to block using pendant as much as possible by operators.

    Go to Setup->Operate Cond.->Security Mode When Power On. This can be set to Operation, Editing or Management Mode. See attached image.

    These are the steps for a YRC1000. I cannot guarantee they will work for the other controllers, although this should at least get you close.

    Hope this helps.

    Many thanks, I missed this option. Already did it on DX/YRC but NX100 doesn't have this.

    NX100 is S2C147.

    0=Operation

    1=Editing

    2=Management

    I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.

    Correct. On NX100 you will have to go under the PARAMETER icon and change the setting:

    S2C 147 - Security mode at Power On

    0 - OPERATION MODE

    1 - EDITING MODE

    2 - MANAGEMENT MODE

    Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I am looking to password lock the pendant (and controller in general) upon power up, and not allow any operation in any mode until the correct password has been entered. Would the method above allow for this to occur?

    To what degree are you wanting to “lock” the pendant. Allow what someone in Operation can do or more restrictive?

    What generation of controller are you on? There’s the password protect option.

    I'm on a YRC1000. I'm looking to lock down the whole system until a password is entered. No play, teach or run until the password is input. Ideally, as soon as the controller is powered on the user is prompted for a password. The user cannot access anything until the password is entered.
