A vendor has recently changed the master code for a FANUC M-410ic/185 to limit access to untrained personnel based on our request, this is great however we recently ran into an issue and had to release the master code to a maintenance person as they were able to complete the "mastering" of a single axis with the base code, however when trying to announce the safety signature, it kept asking for the master code.
Is there a way to make the "announcement of signature" use the base code, or even disable the code completely for this function?
We would like to still give the ability to certain personnel to be able to re-master the axis, but not release the master codes to prevent full out access
