Error 3240

    I'm trying to load in a CIOPRG.LST into a motoman YRC 1000 I have hooked up just to the controller. The LST file is from a previous project, so I know the syntax is good but I keep getting this "error 3240 undefined application". There was a thread about this and he basically solves it himself but I didn't quite understand what he meant.


    I'm wondering since its not connected to the PLC or anything it may be the reason.

    If you open the CIOPRG.LST, on line 2 and line 5 there will be information about the application the controller is set up for. Examples: ARC, MATERIAL HANDLING, SPOT, ARC+ARC, etc.


    The ladder you are trying to load in has to have the exact application as the controller is set up for.

    I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.

    do you mean the 0's table?

    Because I backed up a current backup from the robot im working on.

    I basically took the one I'm trying to import and pasted all the code after "Part 1" and still giving me the same error. Which I dont even know what it is since theres nothing in the manual.
