    Hi Dear Forum Users,

I had SRVO -062 BZAL Alarm previously and I ended up finding out the four pulse code batteries were dead. I replaced them and re-mastered the robot and it worked fine.

Today I found the same SRVO -062 BZAL Alarm again and I couldn't clear it. Batteries are all good. I can't even jog the robot.

It is a R-30iB Mate Plus controller with a LR Mate 200iD robot.

Could anyone please help me with this?

    Thank you.

1st thing I would check is that the + and - are facing the correct way on all 4 batteries. It's really easy to mix them up. Sometimes the BZAL alarms are hard to get to go away when you change the batteries, but I haven't seen one come on the next day.

    Hi AlanL

Thanks for your reply. I inserted those four batteries correctly, with left bottom and right top twos + (positive) facing out, and left top and right bottom twos - (negative) facing out.

I measured all four batteries and they were all 1.5V.

Could it be a faulted wire somewhere in the pulsecode cable? Thanks.

Did you inspect the inside of the battery holder? I have seen then severely corroded and not passing the correct power. Pull out batteries and inspect inside of box.

    Hi Mortoch

I did. I ended up finding out that those springs in the battery housing and cover were pressed too flat. I used a screwdriver to lift those springs up a bit and it's working now.

If someone else encounters this, please check all the possibilities we mentioned in this thread.

    Thanks guys.
