ABB 7th axis external issue

    We have an external 7th axis that rotates a part from 0 to 30 degrees roughly. The issue we are seeing is the 7th axis is not moving until it hits the robot final point. Is there a setting or something we can change so the 7th axis begins to rotate while the robot is physically moving from point to point? On previous robots where I had a 7th axis on a slide it would move while the robot was moving instead of waiting til the robot stopped and then moved the 7th axis.

    What "final point"? How are you moving the robot and the 7th axis? Show your actual program code, and the 7th axis configuration.
