I/O description

  • Hi Guys,

    This question is probably answered many times, but I could not found sufficient answer.

    I want to name my: DI/DO, GI/GO and RI/RO, in Roboguide and next to transfer names to the real robot. I do not want to enter the text from the TP.

    How can I do this?

    I opened Roboguide web server and check DIOCFGSV.VA (IO Configuration).

    I found my strings under:

    [MDIO_MAIN]NAME_NAME Storage: DRAM Access: RW : ARRAY[75] OF STRING[16]

    Unfortunately this is string array, which do not correspond to the RI/RO and DI/DO which I already named.

    Any ideas? Can I use .CM files and to set system variable instead? This could be suitable solution, but which the system variables are?

  • VA files are not loadable, don´t waste your time with the strange structure of this one. Save the DIOCFGSV.IO from RG and load into your robot, enjoy. Take in mind that the i/O config is also included in this file, not only comments.
