This arm and controller come from a medical device startup's lab based out of Boston. It has not been used in a few years, as you can see from the calibration dates in the photos. It was put away working and has been meticulously maintained by the companies' senior electro-mechanical technician throughout all of its life at the company. As you can see from the photos it is in amazing condition.
