A piece of molten steel dropped into the TP cable and burned through it. So I got a new cable and plugged it all in but when I turn the power on the TP screen just stays black like it's getting no power. I tried a different TP and still nothing. I tried a different cable from a working robot system and still nothing. Anybody know what I should do next? Could it be the board that the TP cable plugs into got fried or something? Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like a blown fuse. Which controller type do you have?
-
The R30ib controllers have a TP fuse on the Estop board near where part of the TP cable connects.

And there is a red LED on the Estop board which indicates a blown fuse.
