End point Detection Touch Sensing Motoman

    I am aware of the start point detection T fillet by touch sensing, provided by the macro jobs but how to do an end point detection, touch sensing? I have the macro job but how should I put it in the program? This is for Yaskawa AR2010. YRC1000 controller. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks.

  • You would put the macro in and store the results in a different Position Variable.


    The bigger question is why. The way I understand the question this would be on the same weld. Is your part rotating?

    I know a thing or two, because I’ve seen a thing or two. Don't even ask about a third thing. I won't know it.

  • Yes the part is rotating on a positioner, I am quite new to this so I am not sure about the structure of the program for end point detection.
