I am getting a robot up and running that was moved recently and I am checking the I/O for the end effector and it's not working correctly.
I've got a box mounted to the robot that has terminal blocks that connect to the EE connector on the robot, as well as some simple IFM sensors and some solenoid valves.
The EE connector is providing 24V and 0V and the outputs are correctly turning the solenoid valves on and off.
Where my trouble begins is at the robot inputs (RI), I've checked the terminals that RI[1-8] are wired into and when the sensors trip they are getting 24V, verified by multimeter, but when I look at the pendant they are all OFF. Why would the outputs be working but not the inputs?
None of them are simulated and I do not have any interconnections set up. If any more information is helpful I'll be happy to provide it.
