ABB IRB120 with no pendant

Hi all,

My colleagues and I are in possession of an ABB IRB120 robot along with an IRC5 M2004 controller but the previous owner either broke or lost the pendant to be used with them. Is there a way to use the robot without this?

Sorry if this is formatted wrong, I’m new to this.

There is, but it would have to have already been setup and programmed for the task it needs to do. You WILL need a pendant. There are industrial suppliers, e-bay, and, of course ABB where you can buy a replacement pendant.

Preferable pendant part # would be 3HAC028357-001 as it has the jog mode selection buttons.

Part # 3HAC023195-001 will work just fine but requires toggling between windows to change jog modes.
