I have integrated S7-1200F and KRC couple of times but that was not using MXA.
MXA is a library that integrates into PLC programming software (AB, Siemens or Beckhoff).
So... did you read the MXA requirements?
and since you already HAVE everything at hand, you could try it too...
Siemens has many PLC products that belong to families such as Logo, S5, S7...
Large product families may have further branches.
For example S7 has
S7 - 300
S7 - 400
S7 - 1200
S7 - 1500
etc.
MXA manual simply mentions S7 so any of S7 products should be fine
