I'm supporting a site running a handful of old Fanuc Robots that are 100% reliant on Kflopyt to load/store robot programs. We had these running off two WinXP machines before a power surge killed both devices but have moved this application(kfloppyt) to a Win7 32bit machine running DosBox and have been experiencing occasional problems with loading programs after DosBox has been running for a few days. I figure the easiest way to fix this would be to have our DosBox session restart every couple of hours, but I wanted to see if anyone is running a similar config that might have another solution.
I work on the IT side and don't have info about the actual models of robots deployed, just the back-end systems supporting them.
Does anyone run a similar config? Or have any suggestions on what we can do outside of loading up a WinXP vms?
