Alright, so I cannot get my TP to do the normal on/off with the switch. Everything else works, the buttons down to the Estop. It is giving me these codes

Servo-248 deadman abnormal (when in auto)

    And

    Servo 199 & 233 when in T2.

I am self taught and have no idea what to do, or if I should go get our maintenance department in on this.

Is this fixable on my own?

Sounds like you may have a bad teach pendant cable. This is more of a guess though. I'm not super strong on the hardware side of things.

You might be able to clear the deadman fault by bring the deadman in and out multiple times. Also, I'm not sure if it needs a single channel reset when that fault shows up, but go into the alarm menu and hit reset single channel in there just in case, which I think is F3.

Check out the Fanuc position converter I wrote here! Now open source!

Check out my example Fanuc Ethernet/IP Explicit Messaging program here!

I will try right after lunch, and fingers crossed because I don’t know anything about fixing most of this stuff. I had 3 days of training and everything after that I’ve figured out on my own. (That was 2 years ago) I’m now the only one here that know how to run this thing. (Which is scary)

Small update, the reset thing didn’t work and I can’t find maintenance to get the new cable, so that’s fun.
