KRC2,V4.1.5
Windows and KSS boots without any problem, I can work with KSS meues on pendant. but 'KUKA cross3' still remains on pendant screen and when I close it ,system backs to windows.
Does any body know what is the reason?

This is normal, don't close it. If it stays in foreground, that is not normal, but never ever close it. It is absolutely neccessary for running the robot correct.

Instead of closing you should minimize the window.
cross3 is basically the interface between vxworks and the user interface

In Caption on the right side you will find minimize - maximize - exit
If you minimize the window then at next start up the window should start minimized
I do not understand foreground. Below the menu item "File" you see the blue pin
If your pin looks like this then the Window is on top and always visible

You can move the window around or minimize (putting to icon in Taskbar)

correct, move it so it does not block HMI. I recall case with one of the windows (not part of KSS) that would always stay on top and could not be closed or minimized. so the only way out was to move the window to the side. user was frustrated sine the only way to get that done was by connecting mouse. don't remember name of the program but it got sorted out by small VB program that would search for that window and move it to side.
Cross however is part of KSS and it is likely that user had it pinned.
