Installing DCS Safe I/O Connect (J568) Option

    I'm trying to install the DCS Safe I/O Connect Option with a PAC Code onto an M-10iD with an R30iB Plus controller (V9.30), and it doesn't seem to appear. We tried the usual PAC installation method of: Controlled Start--S/W INSTALL--Option/Robot Library--UD1, but it doesn't work as I can't find that specific option anywhere. We remember running into this issue before when installing DCS options with a PAC, but can't seem to put recall what the solution was. Does anyone have any clues?

    Some options require a reburn of the OS if they have their hooks embedded deep enough.


    I'm pretty sure anything DCS related that is required.

    Yep, installing it from a cold start was the trick. Of course it was something that simple that I never bothered trying.
